franny’s very own Andrew Feinberg, introduces his long-awaited cookbook Franny’s: Simple Seasonal Italian. Alice Waters says it best in her foreword: “This book captures the beating heart of what makes Franny’s so beautiful: its simplicity, its ability to make the ordinary surprising, and—above all—its celebration of honest everyday cooking.”

We don’t anticipate moving into our new location until March at this point, so we will continue to be open at the original location for at least the next couple months.

We will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 6th from 12:00 noon until 8:00pm. So while we will be open for lunch and early dinner, we are closing early to be able to watch how the election plays out with our loved ones.
Please exercise your right to vote, along with your unalienable right to pizza and seasonally-driven produce, and come by franny’s that day for good food and a sense of community. We hope to see you then.
The garden at franny’s will be open for dining through Sunday, Sept. 30. Since we will be moving franny’s to a new space at 348 Flatbush Ave. in the new year, this is the last week to dine alfresco at franny’s. Please come and enjoy a final fall night at franny’s.
Less waiting because there’s more tables? Private dining room? Two brick ovens? Large parties up to 10 are welcome a la carte? Lunch served daily? Takeout all the time? It’s all true!
With the goal of giving you, our valued guests and friends, a better and altogether easier experience, we are moving frannys just up the street to a bigger location! After 8 years it is time to spread our wings. And don’t worry in the slightest, we are working hard to ensure that the ‘new’ franny’s will be the same inviting space as always!
And, as if that news isn’t big enough, what about the original franny’s space, you ask? After a thorough renovation, it will become our new restaurant called Marco’s, and is slated to open in the spring of 2013.
Our anticipated move will be some time in the late fall. In the meantime, we will do our best to keep rockin’ you all with our amazing food and hospitality and, if you want a ‘sneak peak’, check out the construction process step by step at our new facebook page!
