A 20-year veteran of New York City’s fine-dining scene, Adrian comes to us by way of Babbo, Picholine, and Chanterelle–the late, great Tribeca landmark where he served as both fromager and a sommelier for seven years. A CMS level II certified sommelier, Adrian is also an accomplished wine writer and educator. He has written extensively about wine, cheese and Spanish gastronomy for over a dozen publications, including Saveur, Wine & Spirits and Epicurious.com, and co-scripted “Rioja: Tradition and Innovation,” an award-winning educational wine documentary produced by the Culinary Institute of America in 2008. An adjunct wine instructor for the Department of Hospitality Management at Brooklyn’s City Tech (CUNY) and a frequent guest lecturer for the Wine Studies Department at the International Culinary Center in Manhattan, Adrian is also the founder of Brooklyn Fermented, a roving academy dedicated to informal wine, cheese and beer education. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.
