Alejandra Guanipa
Manager
Alejandra hails from Venezuela via San Francisco, where she worked at Range and NOPA. She’s been a reservationist and a maitre d’, a busser and a dishwasher, a prep cook and a server. She is a master’s degree candidate in Food Studies at NYU, where she focuses on the intersection between food, immigration, and nationalism, with special attention to the Venezuelan community in New York—but she just likes to eat and theorize, really. In her off time, Alejandra cooks up a storm in her tiny Brooklyn kitchen or is out and about on her bicycle.
