Fiona grew up in Pennsylvania where her parents were busy practicing and teaching biodynamic farming and her family ate seasonally and locally long before it was a hot topic in food politics. Her career in hospitality began at age 14 at the Kimberton Inn. She moved to New York to go to The New School and promptly fell in love with the vibrancy and diversity of city life.
Fiona’s NYC restaurant career includes a long stretch as captain at Gotham Bar & Grill, baker’s assistant at One Girl Cookies, pastrystagaire at Le Bernardin, pastry cook at Bar Boulud and assistant gm at momofuku má pêche. Fiona runs to keep inspired and always has a race on her calendar. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son. Fiona is honored and thrilled to join the franny’s team.
