Luca was born in Florence Italy where he began his 20 year hospitality career.
His new life started at the local Trattoria “Il Latini” where in 1995 he met Jennifer and decided to move to NYC to get married and work his way through the best Italian restaurants.
Relocating to New Orleans enabled Luca to broaden his knowledge and skills as Sommelier while immersed in the richness of French-American Cuisine. In September 2005 fate found Luca and Jennifer back in NYC where he spent 5 years as the Wine Manager at Babbo Restaurant, brought to life two beautiful children and more recently was the General Manager at the new Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria. He is pleased to have found a new home among the franny’s family.
